Senior Football Our Paul Flynn sponsored senior footballers lost in the Senior County Football Final to St. Brigid's on a score line of 1-11 to 0-8 points. Our lads battled hard but a Brigid's goal put 5 points between the teams which was then increased to 6 and that's what finished between the teams. Club Notes September 14

Following on from a very tense yet exciting few weeks, we can look forward to two senior county finals (in hurling and football) and a minor county final - a position every club would like to be in! With that, we are asking the people of Moore, Taughmaconnell and Creagh to light up our Padraig Pearses community in red and white, to show our support for our amazing lads in all three teams.  We don't know whether supporters will be allowed to attend any of these matches as of yet, so lets do what we can to show our support...

Club Notes September 7

Senior Football Our Paul Flynn sponsored senior footballers took on neighbours Clann na Gael, live on TG4 last weekend in the senior football semi-final. What can only be described as edge of the seat stuff, saw Pearses close out the game by the tightest of margins to win by 1.11 to 1.10. They now take their place in the 2nd county final in a row and will play St. Brigids on Sept 20. Venue and Time TBD. Club Notes August 31

Senior Football Championship  Our Paul Flynn sponsored senior footballers played Roscommon Gaels in Ballyforan on Sunday August 30.  It was certainly a game of two halves as Pearses led by the narrowest of margins at half time - 9points to 8points.  The second half saw Pearses take a strong lead who finished out the game with 19points to Roscommon Gaels 9 points. Club Notes August 24

Our Padraig Pearses senior hurlers took on St. Dominics in the senior hurling championship in an empty Hyde Park on Sunday evening, August 23. Both teams showed incredible tenacity; St. Dominic's using every opportunity to nab their four goals, and Pearses raising the white flag 20 times. This game was played out to the very end, with Pearses coming out on top on a scoreline of 2-20 to 4-9. Pearses will now go on to play Tremane in the quarter finals. Date and Time TBD.
