Padraig Pearses vs. Roscommon Exhibition Game

The Padraig Pearses county champions took on the Connacht Champions Roscommon in an exhibition game under the new main pitch lights in Woodmount last Saturday evening. Roscommon started the first half brightly and went ahead 0-4 to 0-1 but Pearses fought back with the teams going in level at the break. Both teams exchanged points in the second half until Roscommon scored what would be a decisive goal halfway through the second half. Pearses replied with a couple of points but Roscommon then kicked two points and the game finished in a 1-12 to 0-12 defeat. Thank you to everyone who came to support both teams.
